AMD Releases Adrenalin Edition 25.9.1 WHQL Drivers – What's New

AMD officially released its AMD Software Adrenalin 25.9.1 WHQL drivers that include new game support and provide enhanced wider FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) 4 support. Borderlands 4 and Hell Is Us are the new additions to the list of supported games with wider support available on all supported Radeon GPUs.

Maybe even the largest feature addition is FSR 4 support, which can be turned on for the majority of games that have FSR 3.1 support with DirectX 12. This is a big deal because AMD gamers used to turn to custom, third-party community software like AMD GPU Profile Manager and OptiScaler.

Also, AMD has resolved an extensive list of issues, such as those on older generation GPUs like the Radeon RX 6600 series, which no longer suffer from corruption when playing Mafia: The Old Country. There has also been resolution to the SteamVR not seeing PlayStation controllers problem.

A full changelog is listed below.

FSR 4 support
